Located in a building over 150 years old, Cranleigh Arts Centre is steeped in history. Having been a school for over a century, the venue reopened in 1985 as a full time arts centre, and since then it has gone from strength to strength. Independently run, with a small core team helped by volunteers, Cranleigh Arts Centre punches considerably above its weight (acts like Ross Noble, Reginald D Hunter & Eric Clapton often grace the stage!).     Singer-songwriter, composer and musician Anna Neale will showcase songs from her new album Wide Sky, accompanied by some of the Syrian musicians involved in the project. A fusion of Middle Eastern music and Western pop, singles from the album have been featured as BBC Introducing: The South’s ‘track of the day’!     Voted the best tribute band of 2015 & 2012. Purple Zeppelin will take you back to the magic, the excitement and the sheer raw energy generated by two of the greatest Rock Bands of all time: Deep Purple & Led Zeppelin. In a full two and half hour show, complete with special effects, onstage `artist differences` and audience participation, you'll hear more than 30 classic songs – basically “The best bits, all of the time!”

    Amiran Zenaishvili: Pianist

    Award-winning Russian pianist Amiran Zenaishvili is a recipient of the 2017-2018 Martin Music Scholarship Fund Instrumental Fellowship. Amiran graduated from the Central Music School with highest honours in 2013, and was immediately accepted on full scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music. Amiran presents a programme of works by Bach, Brahms, and Rachmaninoff.

    Gerard Logan’s stunning performance offers deeply personal insight into the life of one of the nation’s greatest and most controversial writers, Oscar Wilde. Wilde Without the Boy is a dramatisation of De Profundis, Oscar Wilde’s heartfelt letter to his lover ‘Bosie’ written while he was serving a two-year sentence for committing homosexual acts. The play is followed by a deeply moving rendition of Wilde’s poem `The Ballad of Reading Gaol`.

    ‘Set Adrift’ is a folk album by two of the UK's top fingerstyle artists Daryl Kellie and Jon Hart. Written and recorded on a narrow boat on the River Thames. Along with showcasing the album, the guys will perform individual sets with material from their debut solo albums.

    Henrietta Hill: Violist

    Henrietta Hill is a 2016-2018 Martin Music Scholarship Fund Instrumental Fellow and has performed with the Philharmonia Orchestra under the baton of distinguished conductors Paavo Järvi, Jakub Hrůša, and Yuri Temirkanov. In addition to her flourishing orchestral playing, Henrietta regularly performs chamber and solo repertoire with a special interest in contemporary music. Henrietta presents a varied programme of music by Millhaud, Dowland, Britten, and Hindemith.
