Time Memory and Transience is an exhibition of contemporary art and includes photography, drawing, painting, sculptural assemblages, video/film, textile and mixed media. The exhibition brings together five Surrey-based artists: Zita Saffrette, Sharon McElroy, Zahura Hossain, Gill Newton and Esperanza Perkins, who use their specific media to explore, individually, ideas relating to time, memory, identity, distortion, and impermanence. Their work interleaves skills, experience, histories and stories, both personal and some in response to the rich story of St George’s Church

Please note that the exhibition at St Georges Church – a Churches Conservation Trust building – is open during the final four days of Heritage Open Days in Surrey, a celebration of local history and culture
