POLICE DOG HOGAN
Playing live for Grayshott Folk Club
At: Grayshott Village Hall GU26 6TZ
Wednesday 3rd October 2018 @ 7.30pm
Grayshott Folk Club have finally got their men (and one woman)! After a great deal of perseverance and dogged determination, Police Dog Hogan have finally been brought in for questioning but as big fans we already know that they will deliver a great night’s entertainment.
Police Dog Hogan (https://policedoghogan.com/), are a hard-to-pin-down mix of Americana influences and British song writing tradition.
They combine Fiddle, Trumpet, Banjo, Mandolin, Accordion, Drums and Guitars with four-part harmonies-then fuse it all into songs whose subjects range from “shi**y white wine” to the first day’s battle at Passchendale; from their trip to Nashville (at the invitation of the Americana Music Association Awards), to being hung for stealing at Tyburn Gaol, taking in songs about love, loss and growing up in the West Country along the way.
These guys are rapidly becoming the go-to and must-see Festival band and this Summer will be in demand all over the country. Now we are bringing the Festival vibe to Grayshott for you to enjoy but without the rain, the mud and the over-priced fast food.
